Every enquiry venue is different, the location, layout and facilities. Share the venue name and town with us so that we can check if there is anything special we need to know.
We work with all of your suppliers
For any event to work smoothly all of your suppliers need to pull together. We turn up before the guests arrive, we don't park and block the main entrance, we don't get in the caterer's way or trail cables in front of the bar.
Plan the practical details
We will talk to the venue about parking and loading access, their setup and breakdown windows and any sound or lighting restrictions. We will also provide the venue with our insurance details and any safety certificates they may need.

How much setup time and space do you need?
This depends on the venue, access and agreed equipment. We will work with your chosen venue to ensure all space, setup and breakdown arrangements are agreed in advance.
What does mobile DJ hire include?
3 Monkeys Music provides music, lighting and mobile disco entertainment. Together with wireless microphones for those all important speeches and announcements. The exact sound setup, lighting, timings and any additional requirements are agreed for your event as part of your quote.
How far do you travel for events?
Our focus is the East Midlands, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Lincoln but many of our events are also in rural areas. Send us your date and details of your venue. We'll come straight back to you and confirm our availability.
Can we choose the music?
Absolutely. Tell us about your favourite songs and genres together with any special tracks you would like to be played. We will build a playlist especially for your event. However, a crucial part of the DJ's role is to 'read the room' and know when to play the right track at the right time.
Can you provide wedding ceremony and daytime music?
Just let us know if you need us to include ceremony, arrival and reception music . These needs can be discussed alongside the evening disco, with the scope and timings confirmed in your quote.
