Formal quotations provided by 3 MONKEYS MUSIC will detail the date, venue and services to be provided. The cost of these services will be made up of both a reservation fee and a performance fee.

A booking is only confirmed when a non refundable reservation fee is paid. The performance fee will then be due 14 working days prior to the event date. All payments to be made in UK sterling by, debit or credit card, or bank transfer or cash. Should any of the details of the event change after the non refundable reservation fee is paid 3 MONKEYS MUSIC reserve the right to adjust the performance fee.

If for any reason the event is cancelled or re-dated the reservation fee is non refundable.

Wherever feasible, requests for extended performance time will be accommodated but cannot be guaranteed. Extending performance time will be charged at the rate of £40 per hour or part hour and is payable in UK sterling by, debit or credit card, or bank transfer or cash prior to the start of the extended time.

The hirer shall undertake to be responsible for all communication before and during the performance with the venue / performance space management ensuring that 3 MONKEYS MUSIC is provided with safe and appropriate working conditions. This includes but is not limited to a working environment where 3 MONKEYS MUSIC are free from verbal and physical abuse and damage to equipment. Any damages incurred due to a lack of reasonable protection will be payable by Hirer to the extent of repair or replacement of damaged music and/or equipment, and all costs of medical treatment.

The hirer undertakes to provide adequate supervision of guests. In particular, guests under the age of 16 years must be supervised by the hirer or an appropriate adult appointed by the hirer.

Should circumstances arise that present a threat or implied threat of injury or harm to any member of 3 MONKEYS MUSIC or any of their equipment, 3 MONKEYS MUSIC will stop the performance and leave the venue with no responsibility for full or part refund of any fees paid.

The hirer shall be responsible for ensuring that 3 MONKEYS MUSIC is given clear and safe access to the venue and performance area no less than 90 minutes before the event and 90 minutes after the event for setup and breakdown.

The hirer shall be responsible for ensuring that 3 MONKEYS MUSIC has access to a safe and reliable power source of no less than 4 x 240 volt domestic style 3 pin sockets or 1 x 240volt 16amp Cform socket and 2 x 240 volt domestic style 3 pin sockets. These should all be within 5 meters of the performance area. Where 3 Monkeys Music is engaged to work alongside a band or other entertainer, it is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that adequate space exists within the venue for both entertainers to set up their equipment and that separate power outlets exist.

A written event schedule and music planner or music request list must be received by 3 MONKEYS MUSIC no less than 14 days prior to the event for it to be included in the performance. With or without the aid of an event schedule and music planner or music request list 3 MONKEYS MUSIC shall attempt to play the Hirer’s or guest’s music requests but shall not be held responsible if certain selections are unavailable.

A cancellation of this agreement initiated by the hirer must be in writing. In the case of a cancellation 14 days or more prior to the performance date no refund of the reservation fee will be made. In the case of cancellations 13 days or less before the performance date no refund of either the reservation fee or performance fee will be made. A request by the hirer to change the performance time or date will be considered as a cancellation but 3 MONKEYS MUSIC will try to accommodate the request but will not be bound to agree. This agreement cannot be transferred to another party.

Should 3 MONKEYS MUSIC be unable to perform due to sickness, accidents, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of God, Force Majure or any other legitimate condition beyond their control a full refund of all fees paid to 3 MONKEYS MUSIC will be made to the Hirer within 5 working days. The Hirer agrees that in all circumstances, 3 MONKEYS MUSIC’s liability shall be exclusively limited to refunding the fees paid and will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from any cancellation of performance.
